Details and Gameplay

Download The Sims 3: Dragon Valley Full Version Free. I have been an avid gamer since I slid my first coin through the slot on an Asteroids machine many years ago when my father took me to an arcade that he used to like. I was instantly hooked, and went on to receive an NES when it released the very next year. Games have come a long way since then, and my wife introduced me to The Sims franchise last year. Well recently, I picked up a copy of The Sims 3: Dragon Valley, and here’s how I feel it stacks up.
What you get – 6/10: You actually get a fair amount of furnishing options for a pack that feels more like a DLC than a true expansion pack. But it does feel more like a standard item pack from the store, so it loses a few points in my book on that end. The dragon content however, gives it a solid 6 for that alone.
The Environment – 10/10: While the raw amount of furnishing options only gave it a 6, the way it fits into the world is something masterful. The world feels sort of like a modern day spin on classic medieval England. Everywhere you look, it feels like the Dark Ages stuck around and adapted to modern technology, making for some very beautiful landscapes and town structures. I often found myself just lost in thought enjoying the beauty of the landscape itself, and I can’t justify giving this section anything less than a perfect 10.
The Dragons – 8/10: The baby dragons are quite naturally the heart and soul of Dragon Valley, and they do not disappoint. The baby dragons are purchased simply as an egg and raised as pets once they hatch. The amount of interactions that your Sims can have with your baby dragon are numerous. Not only can you use them in various social interactions and have them sit on your shoulder, but the different color dragons can help raise various skills. Each dragon can cast various spells that can be fun and sometimes helpful, as well as help with things such as gardening. It seems that there are four different baby dragons, and various online guides can help you snag the one you want. A pleasant edition to the Sims world, the baby dragons get a high score with an 8.
World of sounds – 5/10: From my experience, the Sims franchise has always been rather mediocre on the music department. The soundtrack does capture that medieval feel that we’ve come to expect from various television shows and renaissance festivals, but it fails to really enthrall. Keeping with the standard Sims track, it gets a middle of the road score at 5.
Overall – 7/10: Overall I give The Sims 3: Dragon Valley a decently high score. It’s fun to play and the high points really outweigh the low points. If you like the Sims, then you’ll like this pack. Have fun with your Dragons!
